Calculator inputs
The numbers and selections you enter into a calculator (such as a property value or a state) are processed entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. They are not transmitted to, or stored on, any InsuranCalcs server. If you close or reload the page, that input is gone.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you request. This information is used only for security, performance, and basic aggregate traffic understanding, and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies and analytics
InsuranCalcs uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and roughly how many people use each calculator. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may collect information like your IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed; see Google’s Privacy Policy for details. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not currently run advertising or affiliate tracking scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name the specific services used, what they collect, and how you can opt out where applicable, before those services go live.
Third-party links
Some pages link to outside resources, such as consumer information about insurance topics or, in the future, a title company or insurer’s own site. Those third-party sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Children’s privacy
InsuranCalcs is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when a new feature or third-party service is added. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change.
