InsuranCalcs is an independent website that publishes free calculators for common insurance and coverage questions — starting with title insurance, and expanding to a handful of related calculators over time.
What we are, and what we are not
We are a small, independently run content and tools site. We are not an insurance company, agent, broker, title company, or law firm, and we do not sell insurance policies or handle claims. Nothing on this site should be treated as insurance, legal, or financial advice specific to your situation.
Each calculator on InsuranCalcs is built around a single, well-defined estimation question. We would rather publish one calculator that clearly explains its assumptions than a dozen calculators that quietly guess.
Our approach to estimates
- Every calculator uses a simplified, published formula — you can read exactly how each estimate is calculated on that calculator’s page.
- We do not claim to use real, state-filed insurance rate tables unless we explicitly say so on a given page.
- We label every result as an estimate, and we tell you where to go for a real, binding quote.
- We add calculators one at a time and keep refining the ones that are already live rather than launching many pages at once.
How the site is funded
InsuranCalcs is currently a small, self-funded project. The site does not run display advertising or affiliate links at this time. If that changes in the future, it will be disclosed on this page and in our disclaimer. Any future advertising or referral relationship would not influence how a calculator’s methodology works — the formula shown on each calculator page is the formula actually used.
